Casa Maracuya?
Pura Maracuya is the name of the whole project – a space for retreats, slow living, and meaningful moments of reconnection. It includes intimate gatherings, an online shop, and offerings created for those who feel the call to pause, breathe, and come back to themselves.
Casa Maracuya is the place where much of this happens. It’s a small collection of jungle villas in Costa Rica, designed for rest, presence, and natural beauty. It’s where the vision of Pura Maracuya comes to life.
Where exactly is Pura Maracuya located?
We are in La Ecovilla, a conscious international community near San Mateo, Costa Rica.
Is La Ecovilla safe?
Yes. It is a secure gated community surrounded by peace, jungle, and like-minded neighbors.
How far is the airport? Do I need a car?
Just about 1 hour from San José International Airport (SJO) by taxi.
Not necessarily, but if you want to explore, we offer a private car rental for $50 per day directly from Casa Maracuya.
Is the area wild? Are there dangerous animals?
We live in harmony with nature, but inside Casa Maracuya you are fully protected - no spiders, snakes, scorpions, or anything to worry about.
Can I drink the water?
Yes. The house has filtered water available and the area has excellent natural sources.
